This particular dilapidated and slowly crumbling TE20 was built nearly 60 years ago at the manufacturing plant in Coventry, England. It was originally owned by a farmer living in Co. Cavan who registered it in 1963. They stripped all parts of the tractor aka rust bucket before the restoration.
Gerry has applied his skills as a trained mechanic while Conor has learnt a whole set of new ones such as spray painting, welding and fitting. The TE20 was purchased for €1500 and took four months to lovingly restore with many parts having to be replaced such as foot rests and seat.
